Maurice R Greenberg Fellows at Yale University

Yale University invites qualified applicants to apply for the Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program. Each year, the university accepts fellows from around the world to create a unique, geographically balanced group of talented young students. The program runs from mid-August to mid-December, during which time fellows are expected to remain in residence at Yale.

Eligible applicants will be at least five, but no more than twenty, years into their careers, exhibiting a wide range of work accomplishments and an indication of future contributions and excellence. The average age of a fellow Is thirty nine, though there is no minimum or maximum age requirement. Applicants must be proficient in English and a citizen of a country other than the United States. Although dual citizens are eligible, preference is given to candidates outside fo the United Sates.

Applicants must demonstrate an established track record of achievement and integrity, with a commitment to future engagement in making a difference at the national or international level. They must have a capacity for critical, entrepreneurial and creative thinking, and be likely to benefit from participation in the program.

Students must also commit to a rigorous program of activity, including residence at Yale, mentoring other students, and speaking publicly on campus. The award covers a stipend to cover living expenses, a one-or two-bedroom apartment for the duration of the program, medical insurance, and round trip travel.

Applicants must apply entirely online, as there are no paper forms to be submitted. No application fee is required. Once students have created an account and registered via the online application, it can be re-accessed and edited at any time. Students must submit letters of recommendation, a resume and curriculum vitae of no more than three pages, and three essays. Each essay must be no more than five hundred words. Applicants should also submit three letters of recommendation and an optional brief video statement. Further instructions can be found via the online application.
