The Lawrenceville School invites qualified students to apply for admission in the 2019 academic year. The first step for any interested candidate is to request information via the online submission. Once Lawrenceville has your information, its Admissions Officers will mail you a customized view book, along with athletic or arts information, if desired.

Tours and interviews are a great way to get to know the Lawrenceville campus, as well as for the campus to get to know you! Tours and interviews are available from June 11 to August 17 during the summer, and at varying times throughout the academic year. Off-campus interviews may be arranged for students who request them, as well.

Grade 9 and 10 candidates should take the SSAT or ISEE prior to admission, ideally in the current academic year. 11th grade candidates can submit the SSAT, PSAT, SAT, or ACT results, while 12th graders and beyond may submit test scores from the PSAT, SAT, or ACT. International applicants should be able to demonstrate a strong command of the English language through the TOEFL examination, as The Lawrenceville School does not offer an ESL program.

Interested applicants are also encouraged to submit the Character Skills Snapshot to ensure that their personal growth will go beyond the classroom and extend to the entire campus as well as the entire individual. This Snapshot form can be accessed through the school’s website.

Finally, applicants interested in attending in 2019 and beyond can apply, when ready, by submitted the SSAT Standard Application. A $50 application fee is also required of domestic candidates, as well as supplementary materials such as an Athletic Inquiry Form and Art Inquiry Form. Financial aid candidates should also check the financial aid request box on the Request Information Form so that appropriate documentation can be sent to qualified students.

All applications must be received no later than January 15, with interviews conducted a month prior to this deadline for day students. Boarding students will be interviewed on or before January 15. Official test scores must be submitted by February 1, and financial aid applications should be submitted, if financial aid is desired, no later than January 15. Admissions decisions will be issued on March 9 and should be mailed no later than April 10.

For more information, applicants are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office at admission@lawrenceville.org or 1-800-735-2030.
