Delft University of Technology invites qualified and interested international applicants to apply for its stellar technology programs. Although application requirements are minimal, it is important that international students follow certain guidelines in order to receive full application consideration.
Applicants must have received secondary school diplomas that are considered to be equivalent to the Dutch pre-university diploma. Applications should have passed and received adequate marks on final examinations. Some programs necessitate that applicants have finished one year at a recognized Science University. They should submit certified copies of those original diplomas and lists of grades, translated into English, French, German or Dutch, if necessary. Applicants should also submit proof of language proficiency via the TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge examinations, along with an extensive resume or CV written in English.
Students should also submit proof of identity by photocopying the pages of their passports that provide name, date of birth, and passport expiration dates. If already in possession of full-time residency status in the Netherlands, applicants should submit copies of residency permits (both the front and back sides of the card). Finally, applicants should submit their selection of Numerus Clausus study programmes.
Applicants should keep in mind that certain BSc programmes only allow a certain amount of students and, as a result, have more specific selection criteria. Numerus Clausus study programs include: Aerospace Engineering, Architecture, Urbanism, and Building Sciences, Industrial Design Engineering, Clinical Technology, and Nanobiology. Each student must individually select their study program based on personal interests, experiences, and academic skill. Faculty and admissions members within individual study programs will carefully review each application for program acceptability.
All applications must be received no later than January 15, 2018. Questions, further application information, or comments may be submitted to the university admissions team at info@tudelft.nl.
